Mr. and Mrs. David McClearen hosted a family Christmas celebration for members of the Johnson and Brown families at their home Saturday, December 9.

The house was beautifully decorated for the holidays with wreaths, Christmas trains, poinsettias, magnolia greenery accented with porcelain magnolia blossoms and traditional Christmas trees.

Members of the Johnson family gathered in the afternoon and included Mr. and Mrs. Chris Thornton, Brooks and Walker, of Commerce; Mrs. Skip Wommack of Sandersville; Mr. and Mrs. Brad Boardwater of Macon; Mrs. Jeff White of Evans; Mrs. Tommy Chapman of Barnett; Mrs. W. Y. Johnson and Mrs. Cecil Hunter of

Crawfordville; Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Thornton, Mrs. Howard Miller and T.A. Johnson of Washington.

Gathering at the McClearen home in the evening were members of the Brown family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Graham Smith, Adam Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Smith of Snellville; Mrs. Vic Partridge of Grovetown; Mitchell Patton of Appling; Mrs. Clint Murdock and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pounds of Thomson; Mrs. David Bryant of Louisville; Shannon Woods of Augusta; Mrs. Charlie Smith of Tignall; Mrs. Edith Lindsey and Hunter Newsome of Washington.

Delicious party foods were enjoyed at both celebrations.
