Silver Streaks of FBC attend Live Nativity Village Dec. 14
Twenty-five senior adults, the Silver Streaks, from the First Baptist Church and Rev. Chris Townsend, bus driver, had the pleasure of seeing the Live Nativity Village in Thomson Thursday evening, December 14.
The First Baptist Church of Thomson created the village which provided a very realistic reenactment of the birth of Jesus more than 2000 years ago. Approximately 100 participants in period dress were involved in the 10 different scenes. Live animals including donkeys, llamas and sheep, provided by Second Time Around Mini Farm in Wash- ington, added to the authenticity of the village.
Prior to the tour all enjoyed dinner at Ryan’s in Thomson.
