Joseph Jenkins

Funeral services for Joseph Jenkins, 77, of Tignall, were held Saturday, July 29, 2006, at the St. Johns Baptist Church, Danburg, with Rev. H.M. Easley officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. He died July 21.

Mr. Jenkins was a native of Wilkes County and was the son of Thenia Jenkins and the late Wash Jenkins of Tignall.

Survivors include his mother, Thenia Jenkins of Tignall; four brothers, Paul Jenkins of New York, John Jenkins of Washington, and Earl Jenkins and Donell Jenkins of Tignall; two sisters, Janie Mae Jenkins of New York, and Ida Ruth Jenkins of Tignall.

McLendon Memorial Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
