Stanly Leroy Walton
Walton, 41, of Tignall were held Saturday, July 29, 2006, at the Pole Branch Baptist Church, Tignall, with Pastor Joe Glaze officiating. Interment was in the Pole Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. He died Saturday, July 22.

Mr. Walton was a native of Wilkes County and was the son of Betty Walton and the late George Walton. He was a member of the Pole Branch Baptist Church. He graduated from Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School in1984 and was employed at Hollander Home Fashions.

S. Walton; two sons, Stanley Walton Jr. and Joshua E. Walton; a daughter, Janovia S. Walton; his mother, Betty B. Walton; three brothers, George Walton Jr., Bobby Walton, and Eugene Walton of Jacksonville, Fla.; and his grandparents, Elizabeth Bufford and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wilkinson.

Pallbearers included Thomas Smith, Tim Moss, Thomas Williams, Dale Eberhart, Jeff Smith, and Leroy Bradley.

McLendon Memorial Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
