Baldwin accepts Kiwanis scholarship
Joseph Baldwin (center), a recipient of the annual Kiwanis Academic Scholarship for 2006, spoke to the Washington Kiwanis Club at its regular Tuesday lunch meeting on August 8. He thanked the club for its support and told of his plans for the future which include a five-year dual degree program at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Kiwanis president Kerry McAvoy presented the $1,000 scholarship check to Joseph. Bob Simmons (right) was program host for the day.
