Fall soccer sign-up begins Mon., Aug. 7 at Parks & Rec Dept.

The Washington-Wilkes Parks and Recreation Department registration for fall soccer has begun and will continue through September 1. There will be no late sign-ups.

The registration fee for the first child in a family is $30; and $25 for the second child.

There will be four age groups: 56 year olds; 7-8 year olds; 9-11 year olds; and 12-15 year olds. Children must be five years old before October 1, 2006, in order to participate.

Games will be played on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and/or Saturdays. Spring uniforms will be used and there is a $5.00 fee for a lost uniform.

Practice will begin the week of September 4 with games to begin the week of September 30. A practice and game schedule will be provided at the first practice.
