Cheerleading signup underway for girls ages 4-12 at W-WPRD Registration is underway at the Washington-Wilkes Parks and Recreation Department for girls ages 412 who are interested in Cheerleading 2006. The final day to register is August 14. The fee for Wilkes County residents will be $15 and for out-ofcounty residents, $20; plus the cost of a uniform. Uniforms will be determined by squads and coaches and purchased before the season begins.
Call the Washington-Wilkes Parks and Recreation Department at 706678-1454 to register, or go by the department's gymnasium at 22 Lexington Avenue, Washington.
