Tells of veterinary mission work
Washington veterinarian, Dr. Tracy Williams, spoke to the Kiwanis Club at its regular meeting on Tuesday, August 15. Dr. Williams discussed her mission trips to Uganda, Djibouti, Honduras, and Haiti. Mission vets' objectives were to teach indigenous peoples how to recognize and treat diseases in cattle as well as ways to recognize and eliminate parasites that affect cattle, goats, and pigs. She was dressed as a native Djibouti female. Kiwanis President Kerry McAvoy was program host for the day.
