Heritage Club members enjoy trip to Greenville Fourteen members of Washington's Regions Bank Heritage Club joined the Thomson and West Augusta Heritage Clubs for a trip to Greenville, S.C., on Saturday, August 12. The group arrived in Greenville and enjoyed a gourmet lunch at Larkins on the River located at the Peace Center for the Performing Arts. Following lunch members of the group visited Falls Park located in Greenville's Historic West End. Club members strolled through the park and walked across Liberty Bridge over the Reedy River, enjoying views of the falls and the beautifully landscaped park from the unique suspended bridge. Members then attended the matinee performance of Mamma Mia at the Peace Center. The group was dazzled by the elaborate sets, Broadway stars, big costumes and a repertoire of ABBA songs. All agreed that Mamma Mia was nothing short of a spectacle.
Attending from the Washington Regions Heritage Club were June Chafin, Gene and Mary Dickinson, John and Sally Kennedy, Dolores McAvoy, Nancy McAvoy, Rachel Pharr, David and Margie Randall, Grady and Ruth Rogers, Patsy Winn, and Faye Lamar who served as co-leader of the trip.
