Tigers prepare for Aug. 25 jamboree
The 2006 edition of the Washington-Wilkes Tiger football teams continues to prepare for its regular season and next Friday's (Aug. 25) Jamboree with Elbert County in Tiger Stadium. Moving into Class AA this year, WW will face some tough competition in a sub-divided region with perennial powers such as Greene County, Morgan County and Putnam County. The regular season starts against Warren County at home on September 1.
