Free legal services set for local library Tues., September 5

The Georgia Legal Services Program (GLSP) provides free legal help to low-income people with civil (non-criminal) legal problems.

A member of the staff from GLSP will be in Wilkes County to meet with people wanting free legal help in Lincoln, Taliaferra, and Wilkes counties on Tuesday, September 5, from 12:30 until 3 p.m., at the Mary Willis Library, 204 East Liberty Street, Washington. Service is on a first-come, first served basis.

The GLSP office which serves Wilkes, Taliaferro, and Lincoln counties is in Augusta at 209 Seventh Street, Suite 400. Persons eligible for help with legal problems may call 1-800-248-6697 or meet with the representative on September 5.
