Word Bible Study to hold 10th annual outreach with tent service Sunday on Lexington Avenue

The Word Bible Study Class will have its tenth annual outreach tent service on Saturday, August 26, beginning at 11 a.m.

The service will be held at 415 Lexington Avenue, Washington, on

the vacant lot across from the entrance to Jackson Street. The theme for the day is "How much time are you spending with Jesus?"

All apostles, prophets, evangelists, preachers, pastors, and teachers of the Gospel are invited to participate with a five or 10 minute mini-sermon.

Evangelist Jesse Blake, pastor of the Tower of Refuge Church, Augusta, is scheduled to be the keynote preacher.

Other preachers who have consented to preach are Apostle Arlene Scott, Word Life Church International, Augusta; Rev. Larry Hawes, Tignall; Elder Otis Strong, Truelight; Rev. Clyde Davis, New Covenant; Rev. Lance Pitts, Marks Tabernacle; Rev. Terry Casper, Harvest Time Christian Center; Evangelist and Pastor Amethyst Daffodil Wynn, Transforming Life Ministries; Sister Joyce Wilkinson; Rev. Dennis Sims, Lincolnton; Rev. Bertha Evans, Church of the Lord Jesus, Crawfordville; Rev. Chester Beck, Aiken, S.C.; Evangelist Fred Stewart, Minister of Love, Rev. Robert Paul, Rev. Felton Hatcher, Rev. Greer Haire, Rev. Charles Reese, all of Thomson; Evangelist Missy Ansley, Dearing; Rev. Robert Newberry, New Works Church, Lincolnton; Rev. Jamie Haire, Rev. Smith, Church of Christ, Warrenton; Rev. Walton Gordon, Atlanta; Washington's Seventh Day Adventist Church; Elder Gregory Milton; Rev. Albert Rucker Jr., and others.

A praise dance will be given by the Lyonsville youth group.

New Covenant, Diundra Doughty, Rev. Lance Pitts, and Rachel Moreland will present music. All churches and choirs are invited to participate.

The Word Bible Study Class will begin sessions on September 25, and continue through June 2007, at 409 Lexington Avenue, Washington. Classes are held on Monday nights at 7 p.m.
