New Beginnings

William Braxton Barnett

Mr. and Mrs. Ash Barnett of Washington announce the birth of their son, William Braxton, on Tuesday, August 15, at St. Joseph Hospital in Augusta. Brax, as he will be called, weighed 7 lbs. 15 ozs. and was 21 inches long. He has a sister, Savanna, who is nine years old.

Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Cooper Cliatt of Lincolnton.

Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Danny Barnett of Washington. Mrs. W. T. McWhorter of Lincolnton is the paternal great-grandmother.

Mrs. Barnett is the former Lindsey Hargrove of Lincolnton.

Elizabeth Viola Mathias

Mr. and Mrs. Jason Mathias of Ocean Springs, Miss., announce the birth of their daughter, Elizabeth Viola, on Thursday, July 27, in Biloxi, Miss. She weighed 6 lbs. 14 ozs. and was 19 inches long. Evie, as she will be called, has a brother, Austin, who is three years old.

Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Danny Price of Washington.

Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Terry Londerno of Melville, La., and Hal Mathis of Galloway, N.Y.

Mrs. Mathis is the former Jessica Price of Washington.
