Given in marriage by her father, the bride was elegant in a strapless ball gown of ivory matte satin designed by Christina Wu. The bodice dropped at the waist and was encrusted with beads and rhinestones patterned in a diamond shape that followed the waist of the gown. Beading followed the hemline of the skirt and formed a diamond-like pattern on the extended chapellength train. Her gown was beautifully bustled for the reception.

Her chapel-length beautiful shimmer organza veil was lovingly handmade by her grandmother, Mrs. Otis George Cartledge Jr.

She carried a bouquet of white long stem roses fastened by braided white satin ribbon. Silver initial charms symbolizing her new initials were sewn onto the satin ribbon braiding.

Completing the bride's attire was a Tiffany strand of white pearls that was a wedding gift from her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Otis George Cartledge Jr. The necklace originally belonged to the bride's great-grandmother, the late Mary Peters Cartledge. The bride also carried a silk embroidered handkerchief belonging to her mother who carried this same handkerchief at her own wedding on February 10, l984.
