Trey Johnston celebrates second birthday

Trey Johnston, son of Lester and Amy Johnston of Washington, was two years old on Saturday, July 15, and celebrated with a Cars and Trucks theme party at his home with family and friends.

Guests enjoyed hot dogs, hamburg e r s , chips, watermelon, strawberries, grapes, popsicles, cake and ice cream.

As part of the birthday celebration Trey and his friends enjoyed playing in the sprinkler, kiddie pool, sand box and on the swing set. They also played with bubbles and sidewalk chalk.

Among those sharing in the festivities with Trey and his parents were his grandparents, Wayne and Frances Cowart of Thomson; aunts and cousins, Peggy Willis of Thomson, Kim Willis of Sandersville, Lisa and Jake Brodhecker of Martinez, Maria, Amy and Madalyn Kuhn of Watkinsville, Jackie, Matthew and Andie Ellett of Houshton, Heather and JR. Weaver of Hephzibah and Faith and Madison Suell of Augusta; and local friends, Chris, Tara, Garston and Henry Townsend, Heather, Brock and Camden Hammond, Trey, Michelle and Harper Smith, and Robbie, Jessica and Porter Eubank.

Trey celebrated his birthday again with his fellow Mothers' Morning Out classmates on Wednesday, July 18. They enjoyed cupcakes and ice cream sandwiches along with their snacks and received goodie bags with special treats from Trey.
