Sanders recognition well-deserved

TO THE EDITOR:

On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to congratulate Dennis Sanders, District Attorney of the Toombs Judicial Circuit, on having been named District Attorney of the Year in Georgia for 2006 by the Prosecuting Attorneys Council of Georgia.

This statewide recognition by his peers is well-deserved, considering Mr. Sanders' 22 years of dedicated representation of the people of Glascock, Lincoln, McDuffie, Taliaferro,

Warren and Wilkes counties in our criminal justice system. His devotion on behalf of the victims of crime, as well as his contributions to the community, are of the highest standards.

Again, I congratulate Dennis Sanders on this award and thank him for his willingness to serve and help fulfill the constitutional promise of justice for all Americans.
