High school sets open house Wed. from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School will hold an open house for parents and students September 6, 2006, from 3:30-6 p.m. During the open house parents may pick up progress reports in the high school lobby and go see their student's teachers to discuss progress thus far this semester. The open house is being hosted in an effort "to stress to parents and students the importance of starting early and keeping up with their student's performance," according to the school administration. "When parents and students begin early in the semester and continue to monitor grades throughout the semester there are no surprises when final grades are posted."
The faculty and staff strongly encourage parents to become an integral part of their child's education. "Together we can make a difference."
