We had good services at Clifford's Grove Baptist Church Sunday. Rev. Martin concluded the study on Revelation. His message title was "God's Last Invitation," taken from the 22nd chapter with verse 17 as the key verse. To celebrate Labor Day next Sunday, Rev. Martin invites everyone to come to church dressed in work clothes. (No neckties will be allowed). Sincere sympathy is extended to the family of Bobby McCarty who died Saturday. James Sherrer attended the funeral last week of Mrs. Sara Rumsey in Anderson, S.C. The Sherrer family and the Rumseys were good friends when they lived in Anderson years ago. Her husband, Eldo, died several years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Deweese spent Sunday with her dad, Don McNeill in Augusta. Mrs. Stephen Boone of Martinez and Lance Hopkins visited Mrs. Iris Dyson Sunday afternoon.
