Woman's Club holds annual Membership Tea on August 22

The annual Woman's Club Membership Tea was held Tuesday afternoon, August 22, at the clubhouse and attended by current and new members as well as prospective new members.

Hostesses were Melissa Grant and Nancy Sisson. Vivian Walker and Kathy Overstreet decorated for the tea using bright yellow cloths and tall cobalt blue vases on each table. Greenery and a single bright yellow gerbera daisy filled each vase. Fresh flowers and greenery were used on the mantles.

An assortment of delicious refreshments and punch were served by members of the executive board who include Vivian Walker, president; Melissa Grant and Nancy Sisson, co-first vice-presidents; Earline King, second vice-president; Dean Mansfield, third vice-president; Mary McPherson, secretary; Jean Steed treasurer; and Bunny Gunby, chaplain. The refreshment table was centered with a beautiful arrangement of mixed flowers provided by Rose Ware. A matching arrangement was placed on the piano.
