Lianna V. Lagroon honored after high school graduation

Lianna Virginia Lagroon of Anderson, S.C., has graduated from T.L. Hanna High School in Anderson, S.C., and received several honors.

Lianna is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Lagroon of Anderson. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Lagroon of McCormick, S.C., and Mildred Berner and the late Jack Berner of Atlanta.

Lianna is the great-granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.A. (Bill) Bailey of Wilkes County and the late Mr. and Mrs. Olin Edward Lagroon.

While at T.L. Hanna, Lianna completed the honors Teacher Cadet course in which students must be invited to enroll. She will use the knowledge gained in this course to study early childhood education. She was also awarded the Lisa Poore Memorial Scholarship and plans to attend Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., this fall.
