Lou Bertha Willis

Funeral services for Lou Bertha Willis, 83, of Washington, were held Saturday, August 26, 2006, at Mark's Tabernacle Baptist Church, Washington, with Pastor Lance Pitts in charge. Interment was in City West Cemetery, Washington.

She was a native of Wilkes County and was the daughter of Will Willis. She was a member of Mark's Tabernacle Baptist Church and was a loving, friendly, and caring person.

Survivors include a son, Henry Heard of Washington; a brother, Love Willis; two nieces, three nephews, and a cousin.

McLendon Memorial Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
