Frances Alva Echols Blakey Graveside services for Frances Alva Echols Blakey, 81, of Delhi Road, Tignall, were held Sunday, September 3, 2006, at the Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Clyde Davis officiating. She died Friday, September 1, in Wills Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Blakey was a native of Wilkes County and had lived here all of her life. She was the widow of John Floyd Blakey, and the daughter of the late Cleve Echols and Catherine Callaway Echols. She was a seamstress and a member of Tabor Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Danny Blakey of Tignall, and Randy Blakey of Los Angeles, Calif.; and a brother, Robert Echols of Gainesville.
Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
