     TO THE EDITOR: Washington Wilkes lost another great lady this past week in the passing of Edith Anthony. Mrs. Anthony, Big Mama, Miss Edith, or MeMuff, whichever name one knew her by, raised a generation of Wilkes Countians in the sixties and the early seventies.
