Time to sign up for 4-H birthday calendar
birthday calendar time again," announced Wilkes County Extension Agent Marcie Simpson. "The community calendar needs your birthday or anniversary listed so everyone can share in the celebration."

Anyone can participate in the fund-raising program by purchasing a $7.00 calendar from a local 4-Her or the Extension Office. Five listings on the community calendar are included in the minimal purchase. "Make sure your name is there for all to see," Simpson urged.

The money raised by community calendar sales goes directly to local 4-H programming. "With an annual 4-H budget of over $10,000, we need your $7.00," Simpson said.

Advertising space is also available on the calendars. If you would like to advertise your business on the calendar, please contact a Wilkes County 4-H Council member or the Extension office for more details on ad fees.
