By SAMILLE SHERRER Please call 706-678-7363

Happy birthday wishes to our sweet friend, Mrs. Juanita Bradford, on Thursday, September 14. Hope you have many more. Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer attended the graveside services of Mark Harper at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery Wednesday morning. Sincere sympathy is extended to his family. His mother, Edith, and I worked together at Wilkes Telephone and Electric Co. We also attended the funeral of Mildred Cosby at Hopkins Funeral Home and burial at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery near Tignall Thursday morning. Samille and Mildred worked together at Wilkes Telephone and Electric Company for many years. She was a quiet and sweet lady and was loved by all who knew her. Mrs. Michael Attwood visited Mrs. Iris Dyson Friday afternoon. After her dental appointment in Augusta Wednesday, Mrs. Juanita Bradford and Mrs. John Sutherland visited Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Bradford in Thomson. Mrs. Ricky McCarty left Friday afternoon to spend the weekend with her sister, Gail Hammock, in Warwick. Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer attended the 80th birthday party of Joe Harris at the lovely home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Alice Green, in Washington Saturday afternoon. After Sunday evening services at Wilkes County Baptist Church, Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer were among those who enjoyed sandwiches and other snacks and homemade ice cream for dessert.
