Mr. and Mrs. Richard Nelms attended the 24th Shades of the Past Road Run at Pigeon Forge, Tenn., during the weekend. +Mr. and Mrs. Michael Wells vacationed several days at St. Simons Island. +Mrs. John Belcher of Greenup, Ky., and Doug Mitchell of Chicago, Ill., were guests during the weekend of Miss Betty Slaton. Marion Slaton of Atlanta also joined the group during the weekend. +Anna and Caroline Gentry of Athens spent the weekend with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Pope Jr., while their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Gentry Jr. celebrated their anniversary in Savannah.
