Lindsey Hopkins entertained at shower, brunch

Lindsey Hopkins of Fort Worth, Tex., bride-elect of Marco Alanis, also of Fort Worth, was entertained at a shower and brunch on Saturday, August 12, at the home of Barbara Milliorn in Fort Worth. Co-hostesses were Susan Green, Beverly Lea, Marilu McClellen and Pam Wilson, also of Fort Worth.

For the occasion the bride-elect chose a taupe two-piece Capri pants ensemble and a white shell.

The long dining table, overlaid in beige damask, held a mixed arrangement of hydrangeas, snapdragons, and dianthus with other accents.

From the table guests enjoyed a delicious menu of brunch dishes with mocha iced coffee punch served from a vintage Fostoria bowl and enjoyed with matching goblets.

The hostesses presented Miss Hopkins a bride's Bible that each signed and noted a favorite Bible verse.

Twenty-four guests attended. A special guest was her mother, Fran Drinkard Hopkins of Fort Worth, formerly of Washington.
