Middle school Tigers post first win, 22-14, in Elbert Co.
Deon Jackson scored two of the young Tigers' touchdowns on long runs and Eric Scott scored the other one. Three other touchdowns were called back for penalties. "Our defense played great," said head coach Don Keiser. "Trent Martin and Demorris Jackson had a great game." Jackson also caught a 50-yard pass on offense. On both offense and defense, Keiser praised three linemen, John Gowan, Jarret Gaye, and Brandon Thomas who played the whole game both ways. At quarterback, Taveras Jones completed two passes for first downs.
Next, the W-WMS Tigers will host Wrens today, September 14, beginning at 5 p.m.
