Don't you all just love this weather? I really am enjoying it, except for the "allergies" we have to endure. We've had rain, sunshine, and cooler temperatures, and I just love it. Seems like I don't accomplish very much due to running up and down the road. I went to Augusta several times and to Lincolnton to see about my folks. G.B. and I had dinner with them Sunday. It's always good to go home again. We had regular services at Ebenezer Baptist Church with a pretty fair attendance. We had some out due to sickness and others traveling. We had about 70-75 present. Mr. and Mrs. G.T. Hall placed flowers in the church. Happy birthday to Ronnie Scroggs, James Smith, Shannon Newsome Thomason, James Casey, Irvin Partridge, Rachel Pharr, Dot and Joe Harris, Jimmy Demastes, Alana Kemp, Summer Taylor, and to any others I might have missed. Mrs. Jenelle Newsome met Mr. and Mrs. Jamie Newsome and Anna of Martinez in Thomson Sunday for dinner at Ryans. They all seem to enjoy little Anna, and rightly so. Roy Chesnut attended his father's wedding in Macon this past weekend. He was best man. Sara Huff made a trip to Ft. Gordon Saturday. Those visiting Sara were Russell Goldman of Doraville; Randy Goldman of Lincolnton; Linda Standard, Peyton Standard of Augusta; Mitch Taylor, and Ridge Moore. Sara and Randy visited in Athens Monday. Thursday evening Sara went to Hull to visit Mrs. Deanne Johnson and Cassie Goldman. Russell Goldman and Sara Huff had dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Keith Standard and Peyton Sunday. Russ returned home to Doraville Sunday evening.

Bobbi Thornton visited Miss Grace Dunaway and Alex Dunaway Tuesday. I visited Mrs. Mary Rogers, Mrs. Ann Palmer and Mrs. Willie Ruth Freeman at Wills Memorial Hospital Saturday. I stopped and visited Jenelle Newsome briefly Saturday. Sara Huff visited Lucille Ingram
