Kettle Creek NSDAR holds membership coffee Sept. 18
Members and prospective members were welcomed by Mrs. Pope and the executive board and invited into the dining room for refreshments. The dining table held a beautiful arrangement of hydrangeas, garden flowers and plumes of pampas grass in a glass vase. Co-regents, Mrs. Gene Pollock and Mrs. Marvin McAvoy, joined everyone in welcoming the Chapter's newest member, Mrs. Thad Broome. Mrs. Mickey Sisson gave brief highlights on Constitution Week, September 17-23. A special guest was Mrs. Christopher McCorkle of Warrenton, regent of the Burkhalter Chapter and recording secretary for the Georgia State Society DAR. She spoke briefly giving the mission of DAR.
