Whitney Dawson celebrates fourth birthday Sept. 6

Whitney Elizabeth Dawson, daughter of Myles and Brooke Dawson, was four years old on September 6 and celebrated on two occasions.

On her birthday Whitney enjoyed a Dora party with her playmates at the First United M e t h o d i s t Church Preschool. Homemade strawberry cupcakes, Cheetos, CapriSun juice boxes, and party favors were shared with all her friends.

Whitney was treated to a celebration on September 9 with family and friends in the Family Life Center of Tignall Baptist Church. Her Barbie doll cake was served with chips and dip, Cheetos, M&M's, ice cream and drinks. Barbies were favors for the girls and robots were given to the boys.

Celebrating with Whitney and her parents were her grandparents, Mike Bufford, Clyde and Cissy Rogers, and Keith and Phyllis Dawson; great-grandparents Roy Harrison, who shares Whitney's birthday, Shirley Bufford and Esther Dawson; uncle, Josh Bufford; aunt, Karla Dawson; great-uncle and aunt, Don and Susan Harrison of Gastonia, N.C.; Krystle Kvalheim, Margaret Fortson, Jill Thornton, Sandra, Kurt, Kara and Kaci Gammon, Wendi and Evan Harper, Niki and Chloe Fain, Tena and Isabelle Blakey, Suzie and Emily Weaver and Jennifer and Chloe Johnson of Warrenton.
