Local firefighters to collect funds for burn camp

Firefighters from the Washington Fire Department will be conducting a Boot Drive for the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation this weekend.

The foundation has helped burn survivors in their journey to recovery and helps prevent burn injuries since 1982. The drive also supports Camp OO-U-LA for burn-injured children.

The boot drive will be conducted on Robert Toombs Avenue today and Friday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
