Drunk driving, property crimes lead list in September roundup of Wilkes arrests Again for the month of September, drunk driving was the most common crime in Wilkes County, with property crimes and probation violations coming in second. The following arrests were recorded at the Wilkes County Law Enforcement Center in September: Charlie A. Price, 26, of Washington, was arrested September 29 by Wilkes County deputies on a probation violation. Kelly S. Broome, 32, of Washington, was arrested September 28 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with felony making false statements in matters within the jurisdiction of the state. She was released on $4,000 bond. Edward M. Morris, 24, of Augusta, was arrested September 28 by Tignall Police and charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property. He was held on $15,000 bond. Travis Jones, 35, of Wilkes County, was arrested September 28 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with criminal trespass. He was released on $5,000 bond. Corey Grant, 18, of Wilkes Co., was arrested September 26 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with battery. He was held on $3,500 bond. Sadarrevin D. Kendrick, 17, of Washington, was arrested September 26 by Washington Police and charged with burglary. He was released on $10,000 bond. Symekos Lamar Harris, 21, of Washington, was arrested September 25 by Washington Police and charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, and one count of simple battery. He was held on $28,500 bond. Jarvis Mickens, 28, of Washington, was arrested September 26 by Wilkes County deputies on a probation violation. Wesley Christopher Baker, 26, of Wilkes Co., was arrested September 23 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence; driving on a suspended or revoked license; violation of the open container law; and a traffic violation. He was released on $6,000 bond. Peter Edward Perkins III, 39, of Washington, was arrested September 22 by the Georgia State Patrol Wilkes arrests and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol; violation of the open container law; and failure to stop at a stop sign. He was released on $2,200 bond. Alan Wade Appleby Jr., 20 of Augusta, was arrested September 22 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol; two counts of DUI endangerment; disqualification from driving; disorderly conduct; and violation of the city open container ordinance. He was held on $5,127 bond. Keith Dennell Perry, 29, of Athens, was arrested September 22 by the Georgia State Patrol and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol; and violation of two traffic laws. He was released on $2,000 bond. Ellis Mahoney, 36, of Tignall, was arrested September 22 by Tignall Police and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol; driving on a revoked or suspended license; driving without a tag, and driving without insurance. He was held on a probation violation. Delsum R. Bolton, 28, of Wilkes Co., was arrested September 24 by Wilkes County deputies on a probation violation. Keba Hurley, 25, of Washington, was arrested September 22 by Washington Police on a probation violation. Lakisha Harris, 27, of Washington, was arrested September 21 by Wilkes County deputies on a CSRA probation violation. Frankie L. Woods, 47, of Washington, was arrested September 19 by Washington Police and charged with driving with no proof of insurance; and with violation of a registration and license requirement. He was released on $1,200 bond. Dwight D. Worley, 45, of Gainesville, Ga., was arrested September 19 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol; and with a traffic violation. He was held on $1,900 bond. Thomas D. McCoy, 24, of Dewy Rose, was arrested September 19 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol; driving on a suspended or revoked license; and with speeding. He was held on $3,600 bond. Jefferson Demond Banks, 23, of Washington, was arrested September 17 by Wilkes County deputies on a CSRA probation violation. Shawn Wright, of Beech Island, S.C., was arrested September 16 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with simple battery. He was held on $3,500 bond. Sonja C. Morton, 39, of Tignall, was arrested September 15 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with driving on a revoked or suspended license. She was released on $1,500 bond. Jeffrey Ryan Campbell, 20, of Columbia, S.C., was arrested September 15 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with driving under the influence; possession of alcohol by a person under 21; violation of the open container law; and speeding. He was released on payment of $1,151 cash fine.
Ralph Stewart, 42, of Athens, was arrested September 15 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with criminal trespass and held on a probation violation.
