Aldora Cynthia Cook Funeral services for Aldora Cynthia Cook, 79, of Washington were held Saturday, September 30, 2006, at McLendon Memorial Funeral Home, Washington, with Rev. Robert Crawford officiating. Burial was in City West Cemetery, Washington. She died September 26, at Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington. Mrs. Cook was a native of Wilkes County and was the daughter of the late Bennie and Susie Mae Williams. She was the widow of Elgin T. Cook and was a member of Marks Tabernacle Baptist Church, Washington. Survivors include five children, Annie Victoria Nunnally, Tignall, Elgin T. Cook, Newport News, Va., Carolyn Binns, Washington, Ronnie Cook of Washington; and Richard Cook of Tignall; 12 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
McLendon Memorial Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
