Lizzie White guest of honor at 80th birthday party

Lizzie White was treated to an early 80th birthday celebration on Saturday, September 23, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Arthur King, in Washington. Mrs. White's birthday is October 20.

Her yellow cake with pineapple filling was iced in white. It was enjoyed after a dinner of ham, meatballs, chicken, chips, dip, macaroni salad, cheese balls, fruit bowls and tea.

Celebrating with Mrs. White was her son, Hulie White, also Shirley Richardson, both of Brooklyn, N.Y., her daughter and granddaughters, Olivia Smith, Venus and Shekila, of Bristol, Conn., Helen Steedly of Bamberg, S.C., Ann Brown and Albert and Sally Bowen and Holly, of Atlanta, her sisters, Ann Tutt and Ruth Rouse and Gene of Lincolnton; granddaughters and greatgrandchildren, Jennifer Danner and Dyra of Athens, Dawn Harper, Code II and Krishonna Grant; Susan Mae Sims, Ida Mae Smith, Marie Drinkard, Hattie Mae McManus, Ann Gordon, Gwen Morgan, Willie Frank Wingfield and Eddie and Kay Finnell of Washington.
