Urges return to constitutional government
Dr. Paul Broun (right) told members of the Washington Kiwanis Club how the federal government is operating in many areas without the authority of the U.S. Constitution and he explained how the original intent of much of the document has been lost. He said "It's our own fault and we have allowed this to happen through apathy, ignorance, and socialistic thought." He urged all the members to read and become familiar with the Constitution and handed out copies of the document to all who agreed to do so. Dr. Broun is the only practicing full-time house-call physician in the state of Georgia and has spent a lot of time in Washington, D.C., lobbying for personal rights and individual liberty. Honorary Kiwanian Sparky Newsome (left) was program host for the day.
