Still some vendor spaces left, cakes needed for Tignall Fall Festival slated for November 4

Members of the Tignall Homamakers Club, Pat Mack, Louise Harper, and Becky Dixon, are putting the finishing touches on the quilt of the state flowers that will be given away at the Tignall Fall Festival. Tickets may be purchased from any of the members of the club or at the Kum Bak Café in Tignall. Anyone wishing to buy tickets for the hooked rug made by Margaret Fortson may purchase those from any member of the North Wilkes Steering Committee.
The North Wilkes Steering Committee met Thursday, October 12, at the Tignall Lunchroom.

Anyone interested in helping with the fall festival is welcome. We are now begging for cakes. If you could provide a homemade cake for the cake walk, please call Gloria Ware or Carolyn Gammon. This is always a favorite event for the festival.

The applications from vendors are pouring in now. There are still some spaces left, so if you need an application, please call 285-2058 or 285-2736 and one will be mailed to you. Spaces under the pavilion are $25 and the ones outside are $10. All food vendors are $25.

Many activities are included for children this year. We are lucky to have Heather Hammond doing fall photos at the festival. Those who are in the kids fashion show should be perfect candidates for a fall photo since they will be already dressed for the show.
