Emogene Hyden LaFountain

Graveside services for Emogene Hyden LaFountain, 71, of Thornton Road, Washington, were held Saturday, October 7, 2006, at Resthaven Cemetery, Washington, with Rev. Albert W. Huyck Jr. officiating. She died Wednesday, October 4, in Wills Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. LaFountain was a native of Floyd County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late John and Frances Hyden.

Survivors include her husband, Frederick LaFountain of Washington; two sons, Rick LaFountain of

Grovetown and Terry LaFountain of Springfield, Missouri; two daughters, Charlotte L. Santiago of Madisonville, Ky., and Tina L. Myers of Washington; four brothers, Raymond Hyden, John Hyden Jr., Bill Hyden, and Doug Hyden, all of Jackson, Michigan; two sisters, Mary Williams and Sarah Cooper of Jackson, Michigan; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
