Funds raised for cancer awareness
Florence Sandifer, Assistant Principal at Washington-Wilkes Primary School, presents over $600 collected during Breast Cancer Awareness Week (October 2-6) to Beta Sigma Phi members Tiffani Andrews and Mary Lois Akins-Newsome for research and awareness efforts in Wilkes County. Beta Sigma Phi members invite everyone to join them at the Nancy C. Long Memorial Cancer Walk this Friday, October 13 at 6 p.m. on The Square.
