Flint Hill Church Gospel Choir will celebrate its tenth anniversary Sunday, November 5, 3 p.m.
Clifford Grove Baptist Church, Rayle, will not have a service on Sunday, October 22. Regular services will resume on Thursday, October 26, 7 p.m., and Sunday, October 29, 11:15 a.m.
The Church of the Mediator will have its annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, December 2.
A.H. Stephens State Park will have a 75th anniversary event Saturday, October 28, at 11 a.m. The event will be at picnic shelter No. 2 behind the park office. A free wreath-making event will be led by Gladys Thaxton, RSVP volunteer. Participants will make a vine wreath for use from fall to Christmas and are asked to bring decorations for Halloween, harvest or Christmas. No experience is required.
The Lincoln-Wilkes Retired Educators Association (LWREA) will meet Thursday, November 9, 11 a.m., at Ryan's Steak House, Thomson. Bring 2006-2007 GREA copy of awards and recognition guidelines. All retired educators are invited.
Morningside Baptist Church, Lincolnton, will have revival services November 5-8. Morningside Youth Pastor Bill Boland will deliver the morning message at 11 a.m. Sunday, November 5. Georgia Baptist Association Missionary James Bland will speak Sunday, 7 p.m. Other speakers during the week are Rev. Russell Davis of New Work Baptist Church; Rev. Dan Rosser, Lincolnton Baptist Church; and Rev. Bobby Adams, Goshen Baptist Church. All services are at 7 p.m. The church is located at 483 Elm Street.
The Bethlehem Baptist Church will sponsor a bake sale Saturday, November 4, 8:30 a.m., on The Square in Downtown Washington. Twin Oak Baptist Church will celebrate the tenth anniversary of Pastor Charlie Maddox Sunday, November 11, 11:45 a.m. Rev. Lance Pitts and the Mark's Tabernacle Choir will present music.

Hot wings and fried fish with sides will be served along with various sweet treats. Food and candy donations are solicited.
