The dinner will be held at the Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School cafeteria beginning at 7 p.m.

"There will also be special entertainment," said Tourism Director Ashley Turner. "And I mean special."

The Chamber membership will have the opportunity to vote on two new board members. Ballots will be given out at registration or may be picked up at the Chamber prior to the meeting. Ballots will be collected at the dinner.

"Dinner will be wonderful," Turner said. "Catered by Cornelia Davis of Home Café, it'll include a steaming buffet loaded with roast pork loin, shrimp, roast beef, fresh vegetables, and, of course, sinful desserts."

Tickets for the dinner are $25 and are available at the Chamber office. RSVPs are requested by e-mail at washchamb@washingtonwilkes.org, or leave a voicemail at 706-678- 2013. "Please leave your RSVP on the answering machine," said Donna Hardy. "It's not necessary to have us call you back."
