Thanks to Kiwanis for clean play area

TO THE EDITOR:

I would like to publicly thank the Kiwanis Club for cleaning up Liberty Street Park. I teach pre-school at Washington First United Methodist Church and my class uses this playground at least three times a week. The painted benches and additional mulch make this a much more pleasant, and safer, environment for our children and our community.
