Probation violations, drunk driving lead October list of Wilkes arrests

Probation violations and drunk driving led the arrests again for the month of October in this roundup of law enforcement activity.

Arrested on probation violations during October were: John A. Banks, 41, of Lincolnton; Rhonda L. Gresham, 32, of Washington; Felicia Tersa Walton, 27, of Tignall; Shanika L. Wright, 24, of Washington; Kenneth Lane Jr., 23, of Rayle; Leon Ferrell, 47, of Washington; Rudolph Whimbush, 20, of Tignall; Phillip A. Booker, 28, of Washington; Michael Norman, 21, of Washington; Frederick Gayle Porter, 28, of Washington; and Angela Felicia Wynn, 24, of Wilkes County.

Marshall Porter, 53, of Washington, was arrested October 27 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol; driving on a revoked license; driving with an open container; and with a traffic violation. He was held on $3,600 bond.

Eddie Lee Jackson, 38, of Washington, was arrested October 26 and charged with burglary and held on $20,000 bond.

Teresa Herring, 46, of Washington, was arrested October 25 by Washington Police and charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license. She was released on $706 bond.

Mary L. Morrison, 42, of Tignall, was arrested October 26 by Washington Police and charged with felony theft by taking. She was released on $8,000 bond.

Kentonda K. Hall, 29, of Washington, was arrested October 25 by Washington Police and charged with burglary, giving a false name to law enforcement, and was held on a probation violation.

Carla Perry, 34, of Washington, was arrested October 22 by Washington Police and charged with disorderly conduct. She was released on $600 bond.

Marlos Sherrer, 22, of Washington, was arrested October 22 by Washington Police and charged with

driving under the influence of alcohol and with driving on a suspended or revoked license. He was held on $3,200 bond.

Ramon Garcia, 18, of Wilkes Co., was arrested October 22 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with driving without insurance. He was released on $295 bond.

Javier Andrade, 24, of Wilkes Co., was arrested October 20 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with driving without a license. He was released on $295 bond.

Gregory Harris, 46, of Washington, was arrested October 20 by the Georgia State Patrol and charged with driving without insurance. He was released on $295 bond. William Hilton Baker, 67, of Wilkes Co. was arrested October 20 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol; and with driving on a suspended or revoked license. He was released on $3,000 bond.

Yolanda R. Harris, 34, of Washington, was arrested October 19 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with theft by conversion. She was released on $8,000 bond.

Jose Valdespino, 23, of Gainesville, was arrested October 18 by the Georgia State Patrol and charged with driving on a revoked or suspended license and with speeding. He was released on payment of an $842 cash bond.

William Thomas Joslin Jr., 36, of Loganville, was arrested October 18 by the Georgia State Patrol and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and with speeding. He was released on payment of $793 cash fine.

Alester Wilkinson, 50, of Washington, was arrested October 18 by Wilkes County deputies on two orders to incarcerate for child support.

Marion Wynne, 40, of Crawfordville, was arrested October 17 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with deposit account fraud. He was released on $625 cash fine.

Leroy House, 51, of Lincolnton, was arrested October 17 by the Georgia State Patrol and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and with a traffic violation. He was held on $2,000 bond.

Lena Mae Winfrey, 31, of Thomson, was arrested October 17 by the Georgia State Patrol and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. She was released on $1,500 bond.

Samuel Luke Hopkins, 19; Tommy Ray Gibson, 20; and Justin Brown, 19, all of North Carolina, were arrested October 15 by DNR officers and charged with hunting deer at night; hunting from a vehicle; and with hunting across a road. All three were released on payment of $1,050 cash fine.

Barbara J. Cade, 49, of Washington, was arrested October 12 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs; driving with an open container of alcohol; and with a traffic violation. She was released on $2,200 bond.

Billy Ray Hicks, 57, of Wilkes Co., was arrested October 12 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with violation of a family violence order. He was released on $5,000 bond.

Jarmine Antonio Johnson, 23, of Rayle, was arrested October 11 by the Georgia State Patrol and charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license and with speeding. He was released on $2,500 bond.

Brian Keith Hardeman, 38, of Washington, was arrested October 7 by Washington Police and charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license and an equipment violation. He was released on $1,600 bond.

Anthony Lamont Young, 22, of Rayle, was arrested October 6 by Washington Police and charged with disorderly conduct and with obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers. He was released on $1,800 bond.

Robbin Richard Haiger, 47, of South Carolina, was arrested October 6 by the Georgia State Patrol and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol; operation of a vehicle without a license plate, and a traffic violation. He was released on $948 cash bond.

Dawone Ramone Young, 26, of Washington, was arrested October 3 by Washington Police and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. He was held on $25,000 bond.

Kimberly E. Jones, 31, of Lincolnton, was arrested October 3 by Washington Police and charged with burglary. She was released on $10,000 bond.

Paul Mickel McKittrick Jr., 25, of Wilkes Co. was arrested by Wilkes Co. deputies and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and with a traffic violation. He was released on $2,100 bond.

Quincy Curry, 27, of Washington, was arrested October 4 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license. He was held on $5,000 bond. He was also arrested October 3 by Washington Police and charged with disorderly conduct.

Valerie Moore Murray, 49, of Crawfordville, was arrested October 3 by Washington Police and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and with impeding traffic flow. She was released on $2,000 bond.

William Edison Lockhart, 33, of Wilkes Co. was arrested October 2 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with disorderly conduct. He was held on $135 bond.
