Hospital sponsors Halloween activities for children, parents

Winners of the Halloween costume contest at Wills Memorial Hospital were (front, l-r) William Moore II, third; Jack Echols, first; and Erin McLeroy, second.
Dr. Stan Coe welcomed approximately 40 children as they came to Wills Memorial Hospital to participate in Halloween activities sponsored by the hospital for hospital families and their children.

Each department of the hospital provided treats for the children as they were given guided tours throughout the hospital.

Employees had decorated pumpkins for the tour and they were judged by Brooke Dobbs and Chris Bishop, representatives of Bi-Lo.

Washington Police Chief Mike Davis and Lt. Rocca spoke to the children about safety during trickor treating. Bailey Echols, daughter of Chris and Amy Echols, won the "guess the weight contest" for a 41.4 pound pumpkin donated by Bi-Lo.

Chief Davis, Lt. Rocca, and Dr. Coe were judges for the costume contest. Winners were Jake Echols, first place; Erin McLeroy, second; and William Moore II, third.
