Seniors crafty with donated items
Participants at the Wilkes County Senior Center have been making craft items with quilted book covers donated by the Washington Lions Club. The book covers were manufactured by Essez Manufacturing Co. in Washington and donated to the Lions Club for the Georgia Lions Lighthouse and other community projects. The Lions Club donated some of the book covers to the Senior Center for craft proiects. The seniors made tote bags, quilts and other attractive items from the covers.
