Margaret Lenora Prather

Funeral services for Margaret Lenora Prather, 90, Metasville Road, Lincolnton, were held Monday, November 6, 2006, at Hephzibah Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Danner officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. She died Saturday, November 4, at Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington.

Mrs. Prather was the daughter of the late Jacob B. Martin and the late Corrie Lee Dunbar Martin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hephzibah Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Claude S. Prather; a son, Bill Wellmaker, and his wife Beth of

Atlanta; three grandsons, Bill Wellmaker Jr., Richard Wellmaker, and Stephen Wellmaker; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Wayne DeMuse, Jimmie Goldman, Jessie Harrison, Bill Wellmaker Jr., Richard Wellmaker, and Stephen Wellmaker.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Glenda Wells, 1138 Washington Highway, Lincolnton 30817.

Rees Funeral Home of Lincolnton was in charge of arrangements.
