Marie Michelle Layson marries Scott Lee Rogers on October 14

Mr. and Mrs. Scott Lee Rogers

Marie Michelle Layson of Haddock and Scott Lee Rogers of Macon exchanged wedding vows Saturday, October 14, at one o'clock in the afternoon at Gray United Methodist Church in Gray. Rev. John Haney of Gray officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Layson of Haddock.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Rogers of Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Nixon of Macon.

Kibby Jackson of Gray presented a program of wedding music. Jason Jones of Forsyth served as best man. Usher-groomsmen were Barry Rogers and Mark Nixon.

Jennifer Greene of Gray was the honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Donyale Leslie of Gray and Melissa Knight of Macon.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Following the ceremony, the couple was honored at a reception at the Gray United Methodist Church Family Life Center.

After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., Mr. and Mrs. Rogers are making their home in Gray.
