Tignall Baptist hosts 'Operation Christmas Child'

Children and parents of Tignall Baptist Church met Friday, November 3, at 6 p.m. in the Family Life Center for the "Operation Christmas Child."

They had dinner, watched the presentation on DVD, and had a small lesson. Children and parents worked together preparing 20 shoeboxes. Then they held hands in a circle and took turns praying for the child that receives the box. This was a blessing for all involved.

Tuesday, November 14, at 11:30 a.m. there will be a program of entertainment for the senior adults provided by Rachel Eberhardt in the Family Life Center. Afterwards a Thanksgiving luncheon will be served.
