Glenn Ginn Hopkins Funeral services for Mrs. Glenn Ginn Hopkins of Greensboro, N.C., were held Thursday, November 9, 2006, at Guilford Park Presbyterian Church. Burial was at Westminster Gardens. She died Monday, November 6, at Moses Cone Hospital. Mrs. Hopkins was a native of Wilkes County and was the widow of John E. Hopkins Jr. She was a cosmetologist and at one time managed the ladies department at Bernard Shephard. She was a member of Guilford Presbyterian Church where she was active in the Women of the Church. She was a member of the North Carolina Federation of Women's Clubs and Charity League of Greensboro. Survivors include a son, John E. Hopkins III, and his wife Dru of Greensboro, N.C.; two sisters, Geneva Mayfield, Atlanta, and Marie Smalley, Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Jacy and Shay Hopkins of Greensboro.
