Shop Washington first, last, and only
With the first Candlelight Christmas Shopping this week, the Christmas shopping season is officially upon us, as the crowds in Petal Pushers' Christmas Shop show. The Washington-Wilkes Chamber of Commerce says there's no reason to shop anywhere else. "With all the stores and shops we have," said Executive Director Donna Hardy, "I bet you can get 100 percent of your Christmas shopping done without leaving Wilkes County. Will you try? Shop locally first."
